Augusta University is offering a workshop to show students how to prepare for interviews and ease nervous feelings that come with them.

The “Ace the Interview” workshop is taking place Thursday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. at University Hall in Room 224. It is expected to last approximately one hour.

Chris Smith, a career consultant at AU’s office of Career Services, is hosting Thursday’s session.

“This event is an informational session where students learn tips and techniques they will need to be successful during their interview,” said Smith.

During the event, they will go over what students will need to do before the interview as far as dress attire and preparation, during the interview and after the interview. Students will also be able to ask questions and provide feedback from their personal experiences.

It is open to students to attend in person or online, via a link that will be provided after registering.

“This event will be held in person at UH224 and virtually through Teams,” said Smith.
