Jaguars to play in Tallahassee regional

The Augusta University men’s golf team will play in the Tallahassee, Fla., regional in the NCAA Division I national tournament on May 12-14.

The Jaguars, who won the Southland Conference title for the third year in a row last week, will enter as the 12th seed in the regional.

Ole Miss is the top seed, followed by Florida State, San Diego State, Georgia and Louisville. Six through 10 finds Northwestern, Notre Dame, New Mexico, Southern Cal and Michigan State. Furman is seeded 11th, Davidson 13th and FAMU 14th.

The regional tournament will be played at the 7,240-yard Seminole Legacy Golf Club.

FSU is the host team.

The selection show was telecast on the Golf Channel on Wednesday, April 30.

The nationals will play in Carlsbad, Calif., on May 23 through May 28.
