Augusta University’s Homecoming Week is in full swing, bringing students a full lineup of events, performances and competitions across campus.

The week kicked off Monday with Homecoming Hangout on the Health Sciences Campus, where students enjoyed a DJ, free food, a mocktail bar and photo opportunities.

The day ended at Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre with Step Afrika, a high-energy step show that brought culture and excitement to the start of Homecoming week. 

The remaining events are listed below. 

Candidate Cookout | Tuesday, Feb. 17 

WHAT: A chance to meet this year’s Homecoming candidates while enjoying free food and activities.  

WHERE: JSAC Field.

WHEN: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Jaguar Mania | Wednesday, Feb. 18 

WHAT: A Homecoming dance competition open to student clubs and organizations. It is one of the week’s most anticipated events outside of the Homecoming game itself. 

WHERE: Christenberry Fieldhouse.

WHEN: 7 p.m. 

Firework Show | Thursday, Feb. 19 

WHERE: Summerville Amphitheatre.

WHEN: 7 p.m.

AU Basketball/Senior Night | Saturday, Feb. 21

WHAT: The Jaguars will host Middle Georgia.

WHERE: Christenberry Fieldhouse.

WHEN: Women tip at 1:30 p.m. and men at 3:30 p.m.
