AU men's tennis opens with victory over Emmanuel

The Augusta University men’s tennis team opened the spring season with a 4-3 win at Emmanuel University on Feb. 8.

The Jaguars got victories at Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6 to gain the team triumph. Singles winners for AU included David Perret, Tommy Matsumine, Humberto Pinto and Enzo Sakiyama.

AU’s Alexis Bailhache and Arthur Valette lost at Nos. 1 and 2 singles, respectively.

The Lions won two matches in doubles to get the single point there.

The Jaguars will play at Belmont Abbey on Friday, Feb. 13. The match will begin at 11 a.m. in Belmont, N.C.
