Health Sciences Graduate School Fair and Expo
On Oct. 24th, 2025, the Graduate School at Augusta University will host the first annual Health Sciences Graduate School Fair and Expo on the Health Sciences Campus.
The event will offer prospective students an opportunity to explore graduate programs, learn from experts in the field, attend trainee research presentations, tour the campus, and more.
It will feature program representatives from the College of Allied Health Sciences, College of Nursing, College of Science and Mathematics, Medical College of Georgia (Biomedical Sciences and Medical Physiology), and School of Public Health.

Upon checking in at Lee Auditorium, participants will be welcomed by Dr. Jennifer Sullivan, dean of the Graduate School. Following her remarks, representatives from the participating schools and colleges will share brief introductions and graduate program overviews highlighting their health sciences offerings.
This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. David Brooks, CEO of Brooks Pharma Consulting LLC, who will speak on leadership in the health sciences. With more than 40 years of experience in academia, industry leadership, and biomedical innovation, Dr. Brooks will present a talk titled “Beyond the Bench: Interviewing and Leading in the Health Sciences.”
A graduate student and trainee research poster session will then take place in the lobby of Education Commons. This session will allow prospective students to interact with current graduate students and learn more about the innovative scientific work being conducted at Augusta University.
The event will conclude in the Health Sciences building, with concurrent sessions covering topics such as the application process, building a strong resume, and effective scientific writing. Campus tours will also be available during this time.
