The Medical College of Georgia recognized 244 students receiving residency across the country in a 2000s themed Match Day celebration at SRP Park on March 15. Matching in 25 specialties across 36 states, MCG students in Augusta and from the partnership campus in Athens were present at the event. An impromptu rain shower didn’t dampen the special occasion, as hundreds gathered to cheer on the medical students’ achievements.
