The Augusta University men’s golf team will compete in the Cincinnati Bearcat Invitational on Sept. 14-15 at Coldstream Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Bearcat Invitational is a 54-hole tournament. Coldstream is a good test next week at 7,279 yards with par being 71.

You can follow the Jaguars live tournament results on the Clippd scoreboard app. See link below.

In their first tournament of the season, the Jaguars won the Jaguar Fall Invitational at their home course, Forest Hills. Two of the Jaguar players, Chapman Barnett and Pieter Rossouw Jr., ended up tied for first place at 9 under par.

With the team finishing the tournament at 23 under par and four of the individual golfers finishing under par on their home turf, the Jaguars want to keep the ball rolling.

In last year's Bearcat Invitational, Rossouw finished -3 under par. In the team standings, Augusta finished tied for 17th with Furman. The University of Cincinnati took home the championship trophy.

The Cincinnati tournament will open with a shotgun start of 36 holes on the first day, Sept. 13, and the second day will finish off the tournament with the remaining 18 holes. An awards ceremony will follow the final round.

After the Bearcat Invitational, the Jaguars will play in the Fighting Irish Classic in South Bend, Ind. That tournament is slated for Oct. 4-5 at the Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame.
