Best places to eat in Downtown Augusta as a student

Augusta is home to the Jaguars of Augusta University, but it is also home to some amazing restaurants located just minutes away from campus in Downtown Augusta.
Whether you are in the mood for pasta, pizza, steak, chicken or even sushi, Downtown Augusta seems to have it all. We took a look at some of the best restaurants in town and narrowed it down to the best of the best for students to dine at during their time here at Augusta University.
1. Sole Augusta: A modern dining experience offering some great appetizers along with burgers and sushi. Their vibrant day and nighttime offer students a great place for date night or even just a place to grab a quick bite to eat.

2. Frog Hollow Tavern: The tavern offers the perfect spot for a date night offering regionally grown quality ingredients and over a hundred value-driven wines. At the tavern, they offer a wide variety of steaks along with some great seafood.

3. Luigi’s: This family-run restaurant has offered the best Greek-Italian menu for generations since opening in 1949. Luigi’s is home to Augusta’s original pizza pie and also offers pasta and their signature baked Greek-style chicken.
