Augusta University women’s golf team finished third at the More Than Golf Invitational in Aiken, S.C., at the Old Barnwell Golf Club.
With an almost home advantage, the Jaguars headed to Aiken on March 1-3 to compete in their third tournament of the Spring Season.
In the opening round, Sara Adams and Marine Lengentil led the way for the team with a score of 2 over par.
The momentum carried over into round two as the team sat in fourth place, but the lead shifted over to Puntita Pawichai with a 6-over-par score and Adams with 7-over-par total.
Round three would be the best round of the tournament for the Jaguars as the team’s overall score would finish out to be 2 under par.
Four out of the five placed in the top 20 for individual scoring with Pawichai (sixth), Adams (seventh), Legentil (11th) and Sofia Valera (14th).
